THE FOUR PILLARS OF PWI
RECRUIT
The construction industry is a male dominated industry, however at Power we have proven that women can thrive in this industry as well. With that in mind, the Power Women’s Initiative has made it a goal to have the employee population reflect the US population and achieve a 51% Female headcount.
RETAIN
We go about achieving this through several different avenues such as ongoing training and education and creating benefits and tools to help support women through their careers. Examples of those types of benefits would be fully paid parental leave, wellness rooms, HQ maternity parking, infertility coverage, and subsidizing childcare to parents of children 12 and under.
ADVANCE
CULTIVATE CULTURE
In addition to getting more women to thrive at Power, PWI also aims to create an inclusive culture where women from all different walks of life can be understood, supported and championed to excel and find belonging in their new career.
A Mally Defined…
Mally / Noun (Mhal-i) – A true champion of success, wellbeing, and empowerment for all in our workplace and Power community. This term signifies a powerful partnership between men and women, showcasing genuine support and promotion of each other’s achievements. Inspired by the understanding that our collective goals are achieved through collaboration, “Mally” is a male ally who represents the spirit of unity and inclusivity.
